POLICIES

The policies below, allow me to create a space for trust and respect to flourish between you as a client and me as a business owner.

 

If you do not agree with any of my policies, we can agree to disagree, and I will be happy to help you find another therapist that suits your needs.

NEW CLIENTS

  • After you reach out for an appointment, you will then receive a text or email to find a good time for a phone call to go over some first time questions about your specific goals for working with me.

  • After an appointment time is settled upon, expect a text or email with a confirmation of the session. 

PRIVACY POLICY

  • You will have to fill out confidential health history and consent forms before we begin working together.

  • Your information is private and is required in order for me to make informed decisions on how to make your treatment as safe and beneficial as possible.

  • What is said during our treatment is also confidential, within the limits of the law. If you don't like your wife's new haircut, she will never know.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  •  24 hours notice is required to cancel your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • Appointments cancelled within 24 hours are subject to a 50% charge of the session unless the appointment can be filled. 

  • If failure to show for the appointment with no call will result in 100% charge of the session fee and an invoice will be sent to you.

  • Each cancellation is taken into consideration that some situations can’t be helped or you get sick. Forgetting your appointment isn't a situation.

  • If repeat cancellation of appointments occur, you may be asked to find somewhere that better suits your schedule.

  • Please be mindful that this is my livelihood, if you don't show up, I can't pay my bills.

LATE ARRIVAL

  • If the appointment begins later than scheduled due to client tardiness, the session will be shortened to ensure that the next appointment begins on time.

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will no longer be available.

  • Please call or text to relay an estimated time of arrival if you are running behind.

THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

 IF YOU HAVE CONTAGIOUS CONDITIONS

  • If you arrive and are suffering from something contagious or are coughing excessively, sneezy and sniffling, you not only will spread germs but you will also spread your suffering throughout your whole body.

  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well and thank you for not making me sick.

 IF YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS

  • Coming into a wellness treatment under the influence is counterproductive. Some massage techniques require feedback on your pain level. If your senses are inhibited by alcohol and/or drugs (even some prescribed pain medications), then potential harm to the tissues can occur if you are unable to feel if the pressure is too deep.

  • You could feel worse than when you came in.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR 

  • This is strictly a professional place of business.

  • Any form of sexual conduct, conversation or solicitation will not be tolerated and your session will be terminated immediately and the treatment will be paid in full.
