These are the types of massage that I use in many of my massage sessions.

Some or all may be used depending on your preferences and what your body needs.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish massage is a great way to de-stress and unwind. It is most popular for first time massage goers or those who prefer to feel like they are on vacation. The light to medium-firm pressure helps to soothe sore muscles, reduce tension, improve circulation, and increase relaxation.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique used to target the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is designed to relieve tension and chronic pain, and is directed at specific areas of the body instead of the entire body. By working deep into the muscles, it helps to break up scar tissue, release trigger points, and increase mobility and range of motion.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports Massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to support athletes and active individuals. It helps reduce muscle tension, improve flexibility, and increase range of motion to prevent injuries.

MYOFASCIAL MASSAGE

Myofascial Release Massage is a massage therapy technique that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia, or connective tissue of the body. This massage technique uses gentle sustained pressure to release the fascia and promote a healthy myofascial system. This massage is beneficial for reducing pain, restoring mobility, and improving overall body function.

(Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. The tissue does more than provide internal structure; fascia has nerves that make it almost as sensitive as skin. When stressed, it tightens up. - John Hopkins Medical Definition)

CUPPING MASSAGE & GUA SHA

Cupping massage is a therapeutic massage therapy that uses silicone cups to create suction on the skin. This suction helps to stimulate the flow of blood, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain and tension in the body. Cupping massage can be used to treat a variety of ailments and conditions, and is a great way to relax and rejuvenate.

Gua Sha is similar to cupping, but uses a smooth massage tool to gently massage the skin in certain areas to reduce tension, increase circulation and reduce inflammation.

THAI STRETCHING

Thai Stretching is a massage therapy service that combines assisted stretching, breathing and massage therapy techniques to help improve flexibility and reduce muscular tension. It is a great way to increase range of motion, reduce stress levels, and improve overall wellbeing.

CRYOTHERAPY

Cryotherapy is a complimentary add-on that involves the use of cooling creams, salves, and gels to reduce inflammation and pain. It's an effective and safe treatment to help relieve muscle tension, swelling, and stiffness. Cryotherapy is often applied to areas that have had specific deep work and will help calm and soothe the area.

AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is a complimentary add-on to your massage that uses essential oils to promote relaxation and health. These essential oils are applied to the skin to reduce stress, increase circulation, improve mood and bring balance to mind and body.
